As we brave the frosty temperatures and the shorter days we are tirelessly working to get as much done before the holidays. Hopefully everyone is staying warm and looking forward to our spring 2011 collection!

Day 41

December 1st, 2010

I'm sure we weren't the only ones caught in the torrential downpour today! Hopefully you were lucky enough to be wearing rubber wellies, because as I discovered leather boots just don't cut it. As for things in the office, we are as busy as ever and then some! Shooting wraps up next week so we're in the final stretch! Check back next week to see if we survived!

Day 40

November 30th, 2010

Filming went very well today despite the rainy weather. After finalizing fabrics, colors and silhouettes our mini collection is really coming together! After a delicious lunch at Maoz and some more running around the garment district, stylist and friend Ewa Davis popped into our office again looking glamorous as ever!

November 29th, 2010

We hope you all had a relaxing Thanksgiving holiday! I know we did, but now it's time to get back to business! Filming is starting to wrap up and there is still so much to get done. We've been sourcing fabric, sketching and running around the city like crazy trying to make everything run smoothly and come together. And may we say we look damn fashionable doing it. So bundle up in a bright statement coat, wrap yourself up in your chunkiest scarf and get ready for the quickly approaching holiday season (and our upcoming spring collection! Is it too cold to start thinking about spring already?)

On Tina: vintage 1960's orange cotton twill overcoat, black and white marled J. Crew scarf, H&M bow hair barrette, navy and silver metallic plaid print Juicy Couture dress, grey "faux-rragamo" heels (actually Nine West!)

On Kara: black American Apparel sweatpants, Robert Rodriquez tank, graphic tank (that we can't remember the origin of) and adorable brown Minnetonka booties

November 24th, 2010

Before our much deserved Thanksgiving break, stylist and friend Ewa Davis popped in to discuss some details about our upcoming Spring 2011 Lookbook shoot. Ewa was fabulous as ever and the picture of autumnal-cozy chic. We have loads of work to do once we get back after the holiday including developing our Fall 2011 collection, continuing production on Spring 2011 and filming! But for now we're wishing everyone a lovely and succulent Turkey Day!

Things have been a little crazy around the office this week what with filming for the Sundance Channel going on and getting developing the Fall 2011 collection! But despite all the madness we still try to keep things fashionable.

As you may have noticed, we have been having delays in getting up these posts on a daily basis, the good news is that we have been filming with the Sundance Channel, can't divulge too much, but just a heads up:)

Tina has officially joined the Kara Janx team. We celebrated with Macaroons from Macaron on 35th Street, if you haven't been there..walk, run. skip, do whatever it takes, but get there, they have the best mmmmmmmh everything.
